The Côte d’Azur Resort claims to have the Middle East’s largest swimming pool, Grand Azur. Measuring 12,000 square metres, it has a perimeter of more than one kilometre and contains 14,000 cubic metres of sustainably-desalinated water.
The pool is the centre piece of the Côte d’Azur Resort and comprises four connected blue water lagoons, shaped as rolling waves, with a white edge that emulates the Mediterranean’s natural froth. It is complemented with rain forest landscapes containing 100 exotic plant species, and the water temperature is maintained at 28°C, courtesy of solar-powered pumps.
