International Schools in Istanbul

There are international schools in Arabic, English, Russian, German and French in Istanbul.


Saint Benoît High School 

Saint Benoît High School is located in Karaköy, Beyoğlu. Students in the school are studying French, English and Spanish as well as German as an elective course.

Robert College Robert College is located in Beşiktaş. Private American Robert College consisting of a total of 5 years of high school program, including preparatory class, providing education in a foreign language. Education at Robert College is in two languages: English and Turkish; Culture courses determined by the Ministry of National Education are taught in Turkish. The language of instruction other than culture courses is English. The second foreign languages are French and German.

Alkev Schools Alkev Schools are located in Büyükçekmece. In Alkev Schools; the language of instruction is Turkish; German and English are also taught. Located on 30 acres of land, ALKEV Schools have a 24-person computer laboratory, an indoor and outdoor sports complex, a music room, a science laboratory and a painting workshop. The school also has a large dining hall.

Safir College Safir College is located in Ortaköy, Besiktas. Safir Collage students enjoy modern facilities including science labs, computer labs, gymnasium, swimming pool, sports facilities, a library and well-equipped classrooms that include smart boards. Safir Collage teach the Turkish language as a third language which allows students to mingle and enjoy the country they are living in. In addition to teaching the core subjects, English, Maths, Science and Social Studies, School teach the following subjects: the Holy Quran, Islamic Studies, Islamic History, Arabic, Turkish, Art, Music, Physical Education and Computer & IT.  School students enjoy modern facilities including science labs, computer labs, gymnasium, swimming pool, sports facilities, a library and well-equipped classrooms that include smart boards.

Alfayez International School

Alfayez International School is located in Bağcılar and founded in July 2015 and is the first accredited Arab school in Istanbul-Turkey, from the Turkish Ministry of National Education. The Schools has students from more than 34 nationalities. School is teaching Arabic curricula and British curricula (Cambridge program), where the study begins from kindergartens to the twelfth grade in addition to the stages of the Cambridge program which includes primary, Secondary 1, IGCSE, AS Level & A Level. Students are provided with certificates approved by the Turkish Ministry of National Education and the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Cambridge Certificate for students studying according to the British Cambridge curriculum for the final grades.

MEF International School

At the MEF International Schools is located in Beşiktaş, the children of families of foreign nationality living in Istanbul are offered the opportunity to benefit from an international curriculum where the language of instruction is English. Education is provided at all levels--from pre-school to kindergarten and from elementary school to high school. MEF School is IB- and Cambridge-accredited, and offers achievers the opportunity to attend the IB or Cambridge programs in High School.  The Elementary School, which encompasses grades 1-5 provides students coming from 45 different countries with an international education based on the IB Primary Years Program (PYP). The Middle School and High School, encompassing grades 6-12, offer students coming from 48 different countries the opportunity to receive an education at international standards in our IB Diploma Program and Cambridge Program, enabling them to go on later to obtain their higher education at the world's leading universities. The MEF International School-Istanbul is accredited by the CIS (Council of International Schools) and NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges); it is also an ECIS (European Council of International Schools) member.​
