Where is Istanbul Airport?
Located on the Black Sea coast in the European side of Istanbul, the new airport is located at the junction of Çatalca-Göktürk-Arnavutköy and between the villages of Tayakadın and Akpınar. In addition to public transportation vehicles such as buses and airport transfer services, Istanbul Airport is easily accessible by airport taxi, Havaist and private vehicles, 36 km from Levent on the European Side, 40 km from Taksim, 47 km from Üsküdar on the Anatolian Side and from Kadıköy. Sleeping cabins started to serve at Istanbul Airport. "IGA Sleepod" sleeping capsules cost 9 euro per hour.
With the IGA Sleepod service, now there is a special area just for you to relax in the airport whenever you want. With its special prices, easy usage and being at the quietest points you can reach at any time in the airport, you can enjoy your rest with the privilege of IGA Sleepod. Sleeping cabin application, which is seen in many airports abroad at Istanbul Airport, has started. For the passengers waiting for their flights at Istanbul Airport, the sleep capsule model named "IGA Sleepod" was launched. Passengers will be able to rent these capsules hourly. Istanbul Airport, which started to serve at full capacity on April 6, 2019, has launched a new application for thousands of passengers that it hosts every day. Istanbul Airport operator İGA launched the sleep capsule service called İGA Sleepod on the departures floor of the international terminal for increasing passenger comfort.

Capsules can be rented by passengers for 9 euro per hour. Disposable bed sheets will be given to every passenger free of charge as the hygiene issue is kept in the foreground. If passengers request additional services such as blankets and pillows, an additional 2 euros will be paid. The materials used will be sent to dry cleaning after each use by the staff in charge. The interior of the mini cabins is designed to suit the needs of the passengers. The cabins have a USB port and a socket. Passengers can operate or charge their mobile phones and other electronic devices. At the bottom of the sleeping cabin, is a special area where the passenger will put his/her hand luggage.
