I was born in Fethiye in 1954, my family having been here for the past 70 years. I graduated from Middle East Technical University in 1978 where I studied statistics and operation research. Following this I spent 4 years as a systems analyst and programmer, as well as a year teaching computer programming in Ankara Military School. I have enjoyed many successes in the hotel business, including 5 years as owner of the Hotel Letoon (1981-1986), partner of the Hotel Mediteran (1986-1992) and more recently owner of the Sesa Park Hotel (1996-2006). During this time I also set up the Varli motor company and Vartur Emlak (1987) which is where I am today. I have a great deal of experience in commercial, land and residential properties, being also one of the first ever estate agents to open in Fethiye. I believe we offer all our customers an excellent professional service and that little bit more. We are always here to help you and welcome customers old and new to our offices.

I was born in Datchet , Berkshire and attended The Marist Convent school in Ascot. Following my education I spent 3 months in Istanbul and so began my love of Turkey. I married a Turkish man in the UK and first came to Fethiye in 1986 with my 2 small children. I worked in the tourism sector until 1990 before returning to the UK and working for my family The Shorts Group, in the recycling, demolition and architectural salvage businesses. In 2006 I moved here for good with my second husband Glenn (see below). I speak fluent Turkish and have excellent local area knowledge. I can advise on all aspects of life here, holiday homes or permanent living.
 

I am by birth a London boy and had lived in that area most of my life, until I met me wife (see above). I come from a sales and marketing background and have enjoyed more than 32years in these industries. I have worked for both small local and internationally recognized companies.
